Inventory Controller
Job Description
- Coordinating with Suppliers for price inquiries, availability, order placement and estimated time of delivery.
- Coordinating with couriers and logistics team for shipment arrangement and tracking the deliveries/shipments.
- Coordinating with sales staff for the requested price and availability.
- Ensure timely processing of orders and updating estimated time of arrival to sales staff.
- Performing system stock checks and reporting any issues to the supervisor/head of the department.
- Analyzing demand requirements to ensure stock availability.
- Monitoring inventory levels and replenishing stock as needed.
- Performing initial stock ordering of parts for New Model Unit.
- Supplier’s payment memo processing.
- Maintaining and updating records of purchase orders, pricing reports, and inventory records.
- Provide insights and recommendations to management to improve purchasing/inventory processes and procedures.
Requirements
- Proven experience as Inventory Controller, Purchaser or in similar roles.
- Excellent knowledge of inventory management and Supply Chain.
- Understanding of inventory management practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Good analytical and logistical thinking abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
