Senior Sales Engineer

Job Purpose

• Generation of Enquiry, Estimation, Contract (draft) , Site visit, & approvals of shop Drawings/ Finishes
• Meeting Clients/ Consultants & Main Contractors.
• Co-ordinate with the client/consultant/main contractor
• Co-ordination with supplier for: (1) Primary Specification (2) Finishes (3) Order specification (3) Proforma invoice (4) Delivery Schedule.
• Joint Site inspection & Project Handing over to Operations department with all necessary technical & Commercial documents
• Submission of Tax invoices and Achieve payment collections.
• Work on specialized project.
• Achieving the sales target

Duties and Responsibilities

• Achieve yearly sales targets.
• Meet client, consultant, main contractors, Vertical transportation consultant for promotion of the brand and new product.
• Listing of the brands with new consultants, clients and main-contractors
• Scout new areas for enquiry.
• Call, Email and visit clients, consultant & main-contractor for new jobs.
• Submission of offer.
• Collection of payment and achieve monthly collection targets.
• Follow-up with the payments.
• Studying and interpretation of Technical document/ Tender document provided by the Main contractor, Client or Consultant for preparation of technical specification document for sending to factory.
• Technical document preparation for nominated project, where elevator specific tender document is not available.
• Choose right product as per the requirement of the projects (Hotels, Residential, Commercial) : Vertical transportation traffic study, previous completed project reference or existing special requirements from the client.
• Understanding, study and application of different types of manufacturing and safety codes : EN codes , local authority regulatory requirement ( DM, Civil Defence etc)
• Study of architectural drawing – that includes drawings with shaft, without shaft, special designs.
• Check elevator shop drawing that we receive from factory then check with the architectural drawing and site situation for any further changes or corrections are required.
• Co-ordinate with the factory during finalization of the specification for order specification and co-ordinate with the factory during shop drawing preparation.
• Use of Auto-cad operation for checking of drawings ( from factory or client)
• Attend technical & commercial meeting with client, consultant or main contractor.
• Submission of techno –commercial offer and take part in negotiation.
• After finalization of the project do the site marking (small projects).
• Take approval on finishes of elevators & drawings.
• Prepare project schedule in co-ordination with the operations department.
• Follow up on the delivery schedule, and co-ordinate with operations department and client.
• Site survey to before sending the Order specification to the factory.
• Joint site visit with the operations team before handing over with required documents

Competencies

• Bachelors in Engineering ( Electronics & Communication)
• In depth knowledge in Elevators installation, Sales.
• Understanding U.A.E’s different regions and routes.
• Good knowledge of MS Office.
• Problem Solving and analytical Skills
• Communication skills.
• U.A.E Driving license.
