Technical Engineer

Job Purpose:
- Execution and Commissioning of ELV/ICT projects involving systems such as CCTV, Access Control, Structured Cabling, Access Point & Switching Solution, PABX system, Public Address & BGM, IPTV & SMATV solution, AV & Video Conferencing Solution, GRMS & Smart Lock, Master Clock, Panic Alarm, Digital Signage, Gate Barriers and Intercom System.
- Project planning & execution accordance with the project requirements, submission of project plan, manpower report, site progress report etc.
- Preparation of Engineering Submittals with specification compliance, Method Statements for installation testing & commissioning, ITP, Shop drawings, Risk Assessments, RFI, MIR/WIR documents, Monthly Payment Application and Variation documents in line with the consultants and standard requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Attends Project and technical meetings with clients/consultants to Coordinate and plan the installation to be in line with the project schedule.
- Programming, Testing and commissioning of the Systems, conducting tests & inspections as per the cause and effects to ensure operational effectiveness and documents it properly.
- Day-to-day management of the multiple site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force and the work of any subcontractors.
- To be able to attend coordination meetings with client/consultant/contractor etc…
- To have technical knowledge about ELV, IT and security systems which are mandatory during coordination and meeting with all stakeholders.
- Coordinating with internal team for installation, testing and commissioning of all systems in the project.
- Handing over the projects in proper way and completing all close out documents and get it signed by concern team.
- Managing a proficient team in ELV systems and on-site building practices. Responsible for the IT, Telecom, ELV, Electronic and Security systems design contents as assigned together with its follow-up for Authorities and Client’s approval.
- Responsible for chairing coordination meetings with the contractors to ensure that the intended design is implemented Responsible for regular site visits to ensure installation standard is satisfactory.
- Liaison and coordination with all applicable Local Authority Departments to obtain approval at all stages of the project.
- Design & Implementation of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems: Telecommunications, PAVA, AV Systems, CCTV, Access Control, Biometrics, Structured Cabling System Passive and Active components: design phase to construction phase.
- Produce necessary ELV calculations including CCTV Field of View, lens Calculation, Recording Time and Capacity Calculation, Wi-Fi Heat maps, Design drawings, single line diagrams, technical design report, schedules and specifications etc.
- Coordinating with internal team for installation, testing and commissioning of all systems in the project.
